¿SABES REALMENTE LO QUE HACE TÚ AMPA?

Estimados padres con esta circular queremos informaros y haceros ver lo importante que es esta asociación para todos. Tanto nuestros hijos como el colegio.

Deciros que el AMPA es una asociación privada y sin ánimo de lucro. Asociación en la que todos aportamos y ayudamos. El AMPA está representada por una directiva formada por padres de alumnos que trabajan voluntariamente, y que buscan mejoras para el centro en la que puedan verse beneficiados nuestros hijos.

El AMPA tiene unas funciones que van desde informar hasta formar y representar. Funciones entre otras muchas como:

      ●Ayudar a todos aquellos padres o tutores que lo requieran y en cualquier asunto que concierne a la educación de nuestros hijos.

       ●Colaborar en las diferentes actividades educativas del centro.  

       ● Potenciar y desarrollar acciones formativas que promuevan la enseñanza de nuestros hijos.

       ●Tratar y apoyar a aquellas familias que tengan necesidades pedagógicas o de carácter social.

       ●Trabajar junto al profesorado del centro para asegurar el buen funcionamiento de este.

¿Sabes realmente lo que hacemos y hemos hecho los padres que formamos el AMPASIGLOXXI por nuestro colegio?

-          ¿Sabías que el AMPA compro proyectores donde disfrutan de forma interactiva y aprenden diariamente en sus clases?

-          ¿Sabías que el AMPA en conjunto con el colegio organiza el Desayuno Navideño y el saludable con el que nuestros hijos se divierte y a la vez aprenden a desayunar sano?

-          ¿Sabías también que el AMPA ayuda a la mejora de las instalaciones del centro, como la sala de los espejos?

-           ¿Sabías que el AMPA se pone en contacto con sus Majestades los Reyes Magos y/o Papa Noel para que envíen al Paje Real para la recepción de las cartas en las que piden sus deseos haciéndoles entrega de caramelos y/o piruletas de chocolate?

-          ¿Igualmente sabías que el AMPA colabora con el montaje y organización del desfile de Carnaval?

-          ¿Y que el AMPA hace llegar la Navidad por medio del día de la Chocolatada?

-          ¿Sabías que el AMPA es el que solicita el escenario para que nuestros niños se sientan estrellas en su festival de fin de curso?

-          ¿También sabías que es el AMPA el que proporciona las medallas del Acuatlón de “Save the Children”?

Todos estos logros son ejemplos del trabajo realizado por el AMPA, además de otros beneficios en los que se ven beneficiados nuestros hijos.

Estos logros nos hacen sentir muy orgullosos de nuestro trabajo, que luego repercute en todos los niños aunque seamos tan solo unos pocos los que pagamos los 20€ por curso y por familia. Solo unos pocos los que nos reunamos para tratar las necesidades y/o mejoras del centro para el beneficio de nuestros hijos.

Tenemos ganas de seguir trabajando y muchos proyectos en mente. Proyectos muy avanzados como:

-                                  La creación de un parque con columpios para los alumnos de primaria.

-                                  El Banco de la amistad.

Pero este año somos muy pocos los padres que estamos en el AMPA, lo cual hace peligrar muy seriamente cualquier proyecto y el funcionamiento de la asociación.

Porque TODO ESTO lo hacemos os padres del AMPA con nuestro tiempo y el poco dinero de las cuotas.

¿Quieres todo esto para tu hijo? ¿Que suponen 20€/año por familia para todo lo que podemos dar a nuestros hijos?

SON MUCHAS LAS HORAS QUE NUESTROS HIJOS PASAN EN EL COLEGIO: ¡Vamos hacerlas más fáciles y amenas!  

Para finalizar desde la directiva del AMPA esperamos que os involucréis y ayudéis en todo lo que podáis, porque el AMPA somos todos y los que se benefician son nuestros hijos.

Dear parents, with this circular, we want to inform you of what AMPA is and how important the AMPA association is for the parents, our children and the school. 

AMPA is a non profit making private association for the parents that have students in the school. It’s an association for the voice of the parents in which we can all contribute and help and support. The AMPA board is totally represented by parents who work voluntarily to help seek improvements in the school of which all the students can benefit from.

So, what is the role of AMPA? AMPA has many  functions ranging from communicating and  informing members of key information, news etc to representing parents and students in more formal situations.  Including:

●    To help all those parents or guardians who require support in any matter concerning the education of our children.

●       To collaborate in the different educational activities of the school.

●       To promote and develop ideas and actions that contribute to and enhance the teaching of our children.

●       To deal with and support those families that have pedagogical or social needs.

●       To work together with the teaching staff to ensure that everything is working well. AMPA is your voice!

So do you really know what we do and have done? Here’s some of the things we have achieved and continue to do as AMPASIGLOXXI for our school

●        Did you know that AMPA bought the projectors for the classrooms so that the students can enjoy working every day with interactive and other multi media tools

●        Did you know that in conjunction with the school, AMPA organises the special Christmas Breakfast and the Healthy Breakfast events? Our  children not only have fun but at the same time learn about a healthy breakfast!

●        Did you also know that AMPA helps to improve the center's facilities, such as creating  the mirror room? A room used for lots of different activities.

●        Did you know that AMPA arranges for the visit of the 3 Kings and Santa Claus at Christmas! We hold a special event for the children to share their letters and their wishes. Not to mention a delivery of sweets and chocolates!

●        CARNIVAL! Did you also know that AMPA collaborates with arranging and organising the school’s participation in the annual childrens’ carnival parade in Mazarron town.

●        And not to mention the chocolate and churros day in December! AMPA brings this traditional event to the school

●        Did you know that it is AMPA who arranges for the stage to be installed so that our children feel like stars in their end-of-year festival?

●        Did you also know that it’s AMPA that provides the Save the Children Aquathlon medals?

All of these achievements are examples of the work that we do as AMPA, there are many other things our children benefit from.

These achievements make us feel very proud of our work, and the children in our school benefit a lot from them. However, at the moment, in our AMPA  there are only a small amount of parents that join and pay the 20€ annual family fee. There are also still only a few of us who meet to discuss  the needs and / or improvements of the school for the benefit of our children.

We really want to keep AMPA working for the school and we have many projects in mind. At the moment, here are a couple of projects that are already in the planning stage:

●        The creation of a park area  with swings for our primary students.

●        A Friendship Bench

But this year, we still only have a very few parents who have signed up for AMPA. Without more families, it may seriously jeopardize our potential projects and how AMPA can continue to function. 

Do you want all this for your child AND more? We’ve achieved a lot with a small amount of funds and parents. Imagine what we could achieve if we have many more families joining the association and paid the 20€/year per family. It’s not only about the money, it also gives you a voice as a parent!

OUR CHILDREN SPEND MANY HOURS AT SCHOOL!: Let's make them easier and more enjoyable!  

To finish, from the AMPA directive we hope that you get involved and help as much as you can, because we are all AMPA and those who benefit are our children.
